I don’t know why I expected IE7 to not be a total fuckup.
Turns out you can’t use JavaScript to set the name of an element created at runtime. Setting every other attribute works perfectly, but not ‘name’. Why not ‘name’? Because apparently IE7 is, as IE versions tend to be, a pile of steaming feces. [...]
